new favorite tv show: an idiot abroad
yesterday i was feeling a bit under the weather, so i sat myself down for an afternoon infront of the telly. while browsing through on-demand, i came across the funniest travel show i'd ever seen, an idiot abroad. ricky gervais is one of the executive producers, who basically sends his pessimistic english buddy to see all the 7 wonders of the world, and he's less than impressed. in my hour of sickness, i was still giggling like crazy at his dry humor and sinister look on life. you have to check it out.

chic travel companion...
while in the process of tiding up some photos on my desktop, i couldn't help but notice how chic emily was on our trip to ireland. i looked like i was dragged through a hedge backwards, and she's all calm and collected dressed in cream, biotch!

Oh what a night...
filled with traffic, snow, mud puddles, and bitchiness! we barely made it in time, but got to our seats just as he was entering the stage, and from then on it was all singing, dancing, screaming and lots of laughs.

the buble, right before he ran past me and i happened to hold on to him a little too long, the bodyguard was not impressed. i seriously shouldn't be around famous people, it's embarrassing for all involed!

what else can i say, if you're a fan you have to go...he puts on one hell of a show!
kimberly, me + mum

hel+ em

charlie + lola
i first stubbled upon charlie and lola a couple of years ago, (channel surfing while eating my cereal), and i've loved them ever since. lauren child created this famous duo which started out as a book series, evolved into tv episodes, and now is a whole enterprise of products. this adorable brother and sister pair find adventure in everyday living, as they overcome obstacles we've all encountered. the artistic style is refreshing and child-like, and the vocabulary realist and charming. what else can i say, my little niece isobel loves them just as much as me. good job lauren!

i'm a nerd...but i'm married to a dork!
A couple of weeks ago I got an awesome new IMAC. I'd like to say that I've been spending hours on it each night doing something productive like editing my millions of pictures, but the truth is I've just been having A LOT of fun with this hilarious feature...welcome to a glimpse of our home!

call me emma
I just took a quiz to see what Jane Austen character I am most like. I was secretly hoping I would be be Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice, but I knew deep inside I'm far too naive to be her. Alas the results are....I'm Emma, and with a fair portrait of Gwyneth Paltrow in mind, who can complain?

autumn days
Today I woke thinking I was late for my dentist appointment. Not the nicest thought to wake up to, but after opening the blinds and seeing a thin blanket of frost on the roof tops, I quickly recovered. I love Autumn for so many reasons, (even though football commentators invade my house), I still look forward to it every year. Hot chocolate, apples, woolly jumpers, pine cones, candles, pumpkins, jackets, Martha Stewart holiday issues, slippers, and festive get-togethers with friends, what more could a girl want?
In primary school we'd sing this song:
Autumn days, when the grass is jeweled
And the silk in a chestnut shell
Jet planes meeting in the air to be refueled
All these things I love so well
So I mustn’t forget
No, I mustn’t forget
To say a great big thank you
No, I mustn’t forget.
I say "thank you for not being 100 degrees outside anymore, so I get to wear cute coats again!"
Take a look at this one I found on topshop.com it'd go great with my red hair don't ya think?!
