wee lads

it's that time again for these 3 nephews' annual pictures. I shot them last January, here, when they were just wee laddies, I didn't think back then they could get any cuter, but gladly I was proven wrong.

Last year I decided to just make 3 new year goals, not to overwhelm myself. Unfortunately, here I am one year later with none of the goals completed. In hopes of being more focused and committed to this upcoming year, I'm making a conscious effort to write down what I hope to accomplish. To get me excited and to jump start one of my goals of learning to use adobe illustrator better, I designed this header for my 2009 resolutions list. Your welcome to download and enjoy too. my favorite

decorating the house for christmas is always something i look forward too. because i like to change colours and themes each year, i need lots of decorations at my fingertips. i buy the majority of my decorations in the new year, deals like 90% off send me into a frenzy. However, every year i do buy a few special decorations before the sales. i bought this one chrismas 2006 and it's still my favorite. hope you are all enjoying you're festive homes too.

lost + found

to cut a very long story short, i ordered boots from nordstorm and they never came. after weeks of waiting i finally tracked down the package, ups reported that the package was delivered a week ago, but i never received it. after calling nordstorm, they were on the case of trying to find out what happened to the boots, today they called and told me that they had turned up at the store. someone stole the boots from my front door, and returned them to nordstrom for cash. i'm so mad, and a little sick, to think that someone of that nature would even set foot on my doorstep. i filled a report with the police, and the thief will be charged. two lessons to learn from this story. no 1 always have your packages signed for. no. 2 always shop at nordstorm, they always look after you. happy shopping!
