new addition

I'm addicted to bargains. I love the rush and natural high of knowing I've gotten a great deal. This weekend is only half over and I've been purchasing deals left and right, (I figure spending is very unselfish, since I'm really just trying to help the economy!). My favorite purchase is this, our new bed. We've been bed shopping since we've been married...and now we've found the perfect fit. Originally listed at $1399.00 we got it for $325...thank you Downeast!

i'm scared of bears

This year we've not been camping. I'm freaked out by all the local bear sightings and attacks and that happened last year. Summer hasn't been the same without a campfire. Over Labor Day I spied one of these awesome little camping trailers passing us on the freeway, and it was love at first sight. Over the next couple of days, I couldn't get this idea out of my head; we could travel the country by day, and keep snug in our trailer by night. I was daydreaming of how I'd decorate and organize our mini home away from home. After looking at costs I decided it would be better if Brock built or renovate one for us, then I could customize it exactly how I wanted. It's been added to his ever-growing list of 'things to do'.

A couple of weeks ago I got an awesome new IMAC. I'd like to say that I've been spending hours on it each night doing something productive like editing my millions of pictures,but the truth is I've just been having A LOT of fun with this hilarious feature...welcome to a glimpse of our home!

4 reasons to LOVE thick tights

No.1 you don't have to shave! I hate shaving on cold sunday mornings, by the time church is over my hairs have practically grown back anyways... why is the air conditioning on year round?
No.2 warm. a nice thick layer to protect and keep me cozy and snug.
No.3 style. i can't tell you how happy i am that they are back in a BIG way. not only are they adorable, they're fool prof they go with absolutely anything.
No.4 concealer. Since all women tend to be a little anemic, I know I'm not alone when mysterious bruises show up.

New York, New York

It's just about that time of year when a hint of crispness hits the air, jackets are bought to life and I am in a constant state of bliss. I love Autumn. This year I am particularly excited because I get to go to New York for a business trip. YAY! Brock is coming out with me a few days early so we can have a little vacation. We only have 4 days and plan on staying in New York for 2 and then heading to Philadelphia for the remaining 2. I need ideas of what to see, where to stay, how to get around and where to eat....please help!
